Rumor Confirmed...Pizza Hut To Close It's Doors After 30 Years

Hi All,

Just wanted to confirm that the rumor concerning that the Great Mills Road location will officially close it's doors and relocate is indeed official.

Word came from the area and region leaders yesterday evening. The store will close sometime at the end of September and re-open in St. Mary's Square near the Rent-A-Center sometime between October 3rd and October 7th.

The new location will consist of Carryout and Delivery services only and will feature all of the new Wing Street items including a huge variety of wings along with others such as tater-tots, mozzarella sticks and apple pies.

Thank you all for your continued patronage over the past 30 years. We hope to see all of you at our new location in St. Mary's Square!

In the meanwhile, please stop in and enjoy the new Sicilian Lasagna Pizza starting this week! Enjoy!

Stupid idea! I only ate there rarely, but now it's assured I won't be a Pizza Hut customer at all anymore. It's good news for Nicoletti's!

Oh well at least they are moving to a new location.. I work at Chancellor's Run park and I hate to not be able to order pizza there..

I love their pizza but the dining room was pretty nasty the last couple years. They needed to do a major renovation and modernization. We ate there once a few months ago and there were ants crawling on the inside of the window sill.

In a land far, far away - many years ago, a young VV and her friends used to work at a PH... I wonder if the uniforms are the same... We used to pinch and roll the bottoms of our pant legs, wear our waists low and tilt our visors a little to TRY to at LEAST get some fit out of the double polyester too-gross-to-wear-the-shirt-next-to-your-skin uniform! :barf:

I love pizza hut better but haven't had Ledo's but heard many good things. Nicolletti's I can try as well.

The one thing that will probably be missed about the Pizza Hut is the celebrations that certain children's clubs had there. I saw a trophy ceremony there once and that seemed like a good idea for children. But, I guess Cheeseburger in Paradise will take that place. Life will go on and the new place shall be fine, probably just less workers.

If you love Pizza Hut (as I do), my guess is that you will not care for Ledo's or Nicolletti's. I find Ledo's and Nicolletti's to be bland with a heavy coating of oil on top and a crust that tastes like cardboard.

I'd add Domino's & Papa John's to the "yuck" list with Ledo's & Nicolletti's.

Nicolletti's is a nice place. It is generally kept clean and I have yet to have a negitive expirence other then loud kids.

The food is decent and the price is also very reasonable.

I go there about once every couple of months.
