This is from the Running Hare Vineyard Facebook page. This is ridiculous. Come on Maryland/Hogan please explain how this is an issue.

Attention: It has been brought to our attention in a call from the State of Maryland that having a drive in movie is not permitted under Governor Hogan's current executive order. As much due diligence as we took to ensure that we adhered to social distancing practices for this event, the State has prohibited us from holding drive-in movies until the executive order is either amended or changed. We will keep you all updated on when we are finally able to have this event. We encourage you all to stay safe out there and to please reach out to your local and state administrators in hopes that we can get this changed!

Good grief. All this over re’acting’ needs to end. I haven’t decided what the ending will be, yet. I hope it is a happy one, and gets good reviews. :patriot:

Its an issue because people might have fun, the winery might make a couple dollars and the serfs have no rights to either.
I wish we could contact them. The governors office only replies with canned email and no one answers the phone. I sent a certified letter, we will see if it gets a reply. They do not care about the average voter.

Don't forget to pick up your wine slushies in your to-go cup. Clearly that's safer than a drive-in movie. :sarcasm:

Even the dipstick ion Virginia realized that keeping his heel on the entire state because of a few pockets was no longer tenable.
But Hogan is determined that the entire state of Maryland will suck it up until the crap holes of DC and Baltimore is cleaned up.

If that is true, why has Lowe's been allowed to extend their closing time to 9 PM, and NOT count/limit customers every, single day?

I noticed that change on the weekend. On Saturday Morning Lowe's was doing the body count, after dinner they were not AND the store was open later. I believe this was before Fat Larry did another press conference to announce easing up on restrictions.

The entire to,e Giant, BJ's weren't doing that. While Alde's was limiting entry.
I don't think that is a state mandate, that's company dictated.
For example, Giant has been up until 11 while Harris Teeter closed at 8 - liquor store next to Harris was open later than Teeter.
Right now Virginia is ahead of Maryland in reopening.
Except of easing up on some restrictions on outdoor activities and opening the beach in Ocean City, all other restrictions are still in place and there is no date set to start the process to reopen Maryland.
