Here's a few items we are using. Will try and give an honest assessment. YMMV

Dyson V6 Motorhead vacuum

We have a stick vacuum with a very slender profile. Storage space is at a premium and anything full size is out of the question. Prior I had a tiny canister vac that honestly sucked. But not in the vacuum cleaner way. So I tossed it out. I then ended up just sweeping the carpet with a stiff broom and borrowed a vacuum when I could,

Now the motorhead is cordless which eliminates having to deal with a dragging power cord. It works great picking up a lot of dirt. I've done the whole home 4 times now and now it's just down to some occasional dirt and dust. Since it's easy to run it's not a problem to vacuum once a day. We tend to get some leaves on our shoes when we come in from the outside. The motorhead makes short work of any leaves and dirt.

After using it then put it right back on the recharger so it's ready to use again.

:yay:

Satellite radio

Rolling down the road it's annoying to lose a station when the signal degrades. Now we can find a station and listen to it all day long. We can store a bunch of favorite stations. These things are perfect for anyone doing any road travel. I got the docking station so it can also act as our radio in the home when it's hooked up to external speakers.

Oster electric kettle

We have the digital model. Hot water in just a few minutes. It shuts off automatically when the water reaches the predetermined temperature. Ours is set to 212. Very convenient to use. Prior to this I use to heat water in the microwave in a glass measuring cup. This is way easier. The kettle holds almost 2 quarts of liquid.

For some reason on the Oster website it has gotten terrible reviews.
