I just got news from a good friend that two of my other friends were involved in a bad accident.:frown:

Not dead yet.
Sorry to hear it BL. Shock-Trauma Baltimore has a good reputation, though, so she should be in good hands. Not familiar with the other hospital. After a drop of 46 feet they're blessed to be alive.

I hope that they're both up and around again soon.

Aimee's father sits next to me at work. He's had a rough go of it lately. There has been more going on than just this accident, but this is certainly the worst for the family.

Really sorry to hear about your friend BL. I went thru the same thing about the time I was your age. A lot of my friends were killed in car accidents.

301 and Brandywine had another fatal accident this morning. This time a guy running across the road didn't make it. Thump thump DOA

Aimee is supposed to come off the respirator today and be moved out of intensive care.

She broke almost every bone on the left side of her body. When asked by investigators what happened, she just breaks down and cries.

Sorry to hear about what happened but how come they say it was a "St. Mary's Crash", wouldn't it be more correctly stated as a "Frederick Crash"?
 Aimee goes to Frostburg. Lia just lives around St. Mary's city. I think my friend told me that they fell off the overpass sideways and landed criss-cross on some guard railing. I'm going to try to see if I can take off work this Sunday to go up to see them with my friend.
