Saddleblankets

Can anyone tell me about what size saddleblankets you use? I'm thinking about weaving some rugs that could be used under saddles also. Thanks

Most western are 32x32 or 34x36 for the full skirt western saddle..I use a 32 x32 wool pad under my saddle blankets. Helps keep the wool blankets cleaner. Can't wait to see what you make....

Thanks, I have several different colors of Llama for one, and right now I'm spinning Bashkir Curly horsehair for another. I've been saving and spinning my mare's winter coat, I thought it would be neat if I made her a saddleblanket and she could wear herself.
As soon as the loom is empty I'm going to start on the saddleblanket.
