Sadie...the dog found at the dump.

You might remember a few weeks back when I rescued this little sweetheart.
Well, she's going to be a momma.
We have a few concerns though.
When I found her she was not in good shape. After going to the vet we were told (after all her problems) that she was not pregnant. WRONG!
We are worried about the pups though. After her visit's she was treated with doxcycycline (sp?), drontal, frontline and a few other things. She's at least 6-7 weeks along. While trying to help her we may have hurt the litter.

She's precious. I hope her pups will be okay.

Look my ass glows!
wharf rat-
She is one sweet lil gal-I know Drontal Allwormer, Doxy. and most heartworm meds are safe for pregnant dogs-you might want to do some research though.
Good luck with her!!!

I will say a prayer for your cute little doggie. Pending that all goes well with the puppies, do you plan on selling/giving them away? My jack russell needs a friend! She would be very excited if i got her a playmate for christmas!

Make a quick phone call to the vet. Ask the questions.
I sure hope she & her pups will be OK. She is a cutie!

Huge hugs for taking her in! I have a Bluetick, looks like she has some of that in her!

If all goes well we'll be giving them away.
The vet said everything should be fine. If we hadn't done the treatments her condition would have been much worse "if the mites, infections or starvation didn't kill her the birth may have..plus the pups wouldn't of had a good chance". All we can do now is wait. She's at least 7 weeks along. Not in time for Christmas but maybe Valentines or just a little while after.
Wish I knew what the father was.
