Anybody hear anything today on the scanner about problems at the Prince Frederick Safeway around 2:00 this afternoon. Wife called me on my cell and said she was there they had to vacate the store and Prince Frederick and Huntingtown VFD's were there taking hoses in to the store????

I was there just as the firetrucks arrived - no one knew what was going on. They did hook up the hoses, but none were ever needed or even taken into the store, I asked probably 5 employees as I went through the store and none of them could tell me what happened. :lol: I had my son's prescription to pick up or I'd have gone to Food Lion. We waited about 1/2 hour.

I was in the store checking out...when their fire alarms went off. They went off for a good 2 minutes before a lady came over the loud speaker saying this is not a drill please exit the store. we waited outside for about 30 to 45 minutes with no information. PF fire dept showed up after about 5 -10 minutes unrolled their hoses hooked them up then nothing....they all exited the store and after about 10 minutes of them leaving we were allowed back in. truthfully it was quite weird especially since no one (including employees) knew what was going on.
