Sailor Gets Angry Reply To Bottle Message

NAPEAGUE, N.Y. -- A sailor who sent a message out to sea in a bottle says he received a reply from England -- accusing him of littering. "I kind of felt like no good deed goes unpunished," Harvey Bennett, 55, told the East Hampton Star.

Very interesting. In the time and age of the internet, it seems that some folks totally disregard something as magical as a bottle thrown into the sea and washing up on the shores of one's birth.

I threw a ginger ale bottle with a note in Allens Fresh run one time and got a reply from Virginia. This fella got alot more distance outa his. I wonder if he uses a special bottle?
