I absolutely didn't care for the guacamole - it didn't taste fresh at all. In fact, I thought it had a funny taste to it - not spoiled - just a funny taste. I also didn't like their black beans or, for that matter, the other ingredients. It just wasn't a good experience for me which is really disappointing because I had hoped I would have an alternative to Chipotle's (which is no longer an option for me since I moved to Calvert).
I am really ticked!![]()
Is there ever a time that you can get into that place? I've never gone past that the lot wasn't packed.Bay_Kat said:I wasn't impressed with it either. The prices are a little high too. Good Mexican food in Calvert...Mexico, Rt. 4 where Surrey Inn used to be. They have great food, great service, very clean and the prices aren't bad at all.![]()

The wait is never very long. We've gone when the place was packed and the longest we've waited is about 20 minutes. Food is good, always served hot, service is friendly and efficient and the cost of food and drinks is very reasonable. It's one of our favorites.
