This is disturbing on so many levels. IF they try him as an adult, the good news is that he probably won't live another year in prison. It's Commiefornia, so who really knows what will happen, despite the Santa Clara County DA's tough talk.
Because here's the thing: they're being careful not to provide the man's name; identifying him only as a "teen (he was 17 at the time)." I think we've all seen a pattern over the last dozen or so years to draw some likely conclusions about that kind of thing.
If he fits a certain profile, the prosecution is no doubt trying to figure out how to put him back on the street without causing an uproar. Meanwhile, Gavin "I'm preppy enough to be President" Gruesome no doubt wishes he had a kind of "Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps" in place to stamp out said uproar.
