Santa at the grocery store is just wrong.
:yeahthat: Last year (when the boy still believed) we were out doing errands and he saw "santa" coming out of the liquor store. He looked at me and said "well that explains why Santa forgot some of the things on my list". :lmao:

Not dead yet.
Santa at Giant: "Ho Ho Ho, You're laid off, and by the way our service sucks now too!"

You know why Santa is so jolly, don't you?

He knows where the BAD girls live!

33 yrs & we r still n luv
I remember when my boys were little the bay district firefighters would come through the neighborhood bringing Santa and candy. They loved it! Guess gas is too expensive now (and the fact that the county has grown so much).......

The answer is the latter. Their first due area is now soo large that there is no way they could cover it all with the limited time before Christmas, so they have now just chosen central locations and you can come to them.

While it's a bit of trip from Southern Maryland, we are taking the "Santa Express" train ride from Cumberland to Frosterberg. Santa is on the train for the entire ride for photo opportunities, etc., and when it arrives in Frosterberg, the kids actually think they've traveled to the North Pole! Of course, we're taking the kids to see the movie Polar Express this weekend and our train ride is next weekend. I hope it's completely magical for them!

Also, kids can take a horse drawn carriage ride with Santa in Annapolis. I can't remember the name of the mall but its the one on Riva Road where the Whole Foods store is. The carriage ride goes around the perimeter of the parking lot and the kids can talk with Santa. The ride is free but if you want a picture, its $5.00.
