I know that, but it doesn't explain everyone else, I think it was the "checkpoint" sign in Solomons that slowed traffic tonight. 2A said they got someone before the bridge on our way down.

When I crossed into Calvert tonight around 8, they had radar set up at the base of the bridge for cars heading towards St. Mary's. On the way home, I saw one person pulled over just past Patuxent Beach Road (and before the overwhelming aroma of skunk past the little bridge) and another pulled over on 235.

I had a state trooper blow by me on Indian Bridge Road with lights flashing but no siren. I never got above 42 MPH on Route 5 due to the cars in front of me.

No checkpoints, just a sign warning that there could be one at anytime. The police were partrolling the bridge pretty heavily last night though. I didn't see any on 4 north of the bridge.
