Its freezing out, low 50's...coat weather!

Off topic for a sec....this reminds me when I first came to Maryland from Calif some 25 years ago. I saw an ad for a "turkey shoot". Boy was I pissed. I pictured a bunch of turkeys running around and you shoot them and then get to keep the one you shoot. I thought they were live turkeys. I went on my little rampage until someone explained it to me. OOPS! My bad.

A few of mine from Saturday.

I went with JBR today but my Photos from the Smithsonian can’t compete with his, so I’ll put up some of the others I shot on Saturday. The Football was from the DC Generals against the North Carolina Cobras at Gallaudet University, The DC team is made up of Police, Correctional Officers, Firemen, and Rescue Workers. The Revolution, A Tribute to the Beatles was at Great Mills High School.

Nice shots---I am partial to bleeding hearts--such intricate things--they have a way of holding water that is cool too.....here's one I shot last weekend...in my garden.
