I have spread sheets that I downloaded and need to reformat and edit each one. I have to chuck about have the info, place a header on the top of each page and highlight specific information.

With MSOffice2007 can I create a formatted template and and then just paste the info on to that? I've only been using it a few months so I still don't knwo what all it can do...

There's got to be an easier way to do this!!:dead:

I can download them in Excel but they are all jacked up. It only takes a sec to fix that, but then I have to go line by line.

Uhg! I also can't keep pasting the same thing over and over, I ahve to go back and copy it again each time.

Change each adn every city name to an abreviation. Color each of the the driver's Id numbers.. :faint:

OH I finally finished them all.

It was just a pain in the azz. I had so many different spread sheets and they were about 600 lines and colorized and there was info in them I needed to delete or replace...
I just got the MS office 2007 and haven't figured out all the little tweeks..

I'm familiar as hell with it now:lol:

I feel your pain... :huggy:

I used to do this for a living before I quit my job. Same old "spreadsheet" that have to be updated for 8 hours a day for five times a week! Drove me up the walls for doing same old boring stuff everyday! My job as a TSA, I had to update the trouble tickets every single day to see if it have any new reports or closed. That was the only job I had to do for six months! I was so effing bored with doing same old everyday!

Again, I feel your pain. This kind of job that make you want to go out for drinking with your buddies. :buddies:

Not sure if a template would be much help (don't have any experience with creating them personally) but you might take a look at creating or using macros to do at least some of this. Macros aren't to hard to write since they are just VB script and plenty of examples of various things can be found on the internet.

Good Luck.
