In My Opinion
It was on rt 50 on a tow truck.
it was tagged.

Think someone wandered more than 30 miles from home with it? :killingme

Methodically disorganized
40 miles. As with software, I would not buy version 1 of a vehicle. That's asking for trouble.

Ford just introduced its new electric Focus, which it says will be available in North America by the end of the year. It's an all electric vehicle, rather than a plug-in hybrid like the Chevrolet Volt.

Electric Ford Focus will go on sale this year

DETROIT - Ford Motor Co. said Friday that an electric version of its Ford Focus sedan will go on sale in North America by the end of this year.

Ford introduced the electric Focus at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The car is expected to go up to 100 miles (160 kilometers) on an electric charge.

The automaker says the Focus can be fully charged in three to four hours using a 240-volt outlet. That's half the time it takes to charge the Nissan Leaf, a competitor that went on sale last month.

They look neat but get horrible all electric milage and the gas milage is less than my Neon. Not to mention my car was about half the price brand new.
32-36mpg in my 04 Peon.

I have an '05 Focus. Paid about $12K for it. Get 30 MPG average

2011 Electric Focus is going to be +/- $32K and get 100 MPC (miles per charge)

It would take a LOT of miles to get the electric version to pay off the $20K higher cost of buying it. Plus, by the time it has "paid off", it's gonna be time to replace the batteries.

Electric just is not feasible for me.

Get it up to 200 MPC and only $5K more than a gas car and we'll talk.
