Scanner Glitch

The scanners were offline for a short time due to a server move.

St. Mary's is back online now. Calvert and Charles will be up as soon as the Ops update their config.

If you have hardcoded or programmed the channels into any of your players, you will have to update using the config files here:

Public Safety (Police, Fire, EMS) Radio Scanners for Southern Maryland (Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's Counties)

We have not been able to pull up the Calvert scanner since the update last night. I tried to open in Windows Media Player, but says that I don't have the proper codec in order to stream.

Did the update last night change some of the settings so users might need to download a Codec in order to stream now? Or are the servers just still down?

My apologies; DGates80 is on vacation and is expected to return on Saturday. His wife~me~ does not have a clue how to reprogram.

I don't want pictures, even mental ones. I just want to hear what's going on. My scanner here is pretty quiet tonight. We don't have tiki opening, ours never close.

Oh and I want to see how early the po po shuts the island down this year. Last year seemed really early.

All island traffic will be shut down at 11pm or earlier on Fri and Sat according to the MSP. Only residents with ID will get in after that.
Maybe they will start the 'push' off shortly after that.

I could find out where I stored away the old scanner and punch some freqs back into it I quess but I probably won't bother.

Well poo...I was looking forward to playing on the puter while listening to the scanner on line. Guess my farm will have to wait till later.

I was at FoodLion between 5-6pm. When Tiki opens I won't go over the bridge cause I really don't want to be killed by the drunks. I came out of the store and there was a State helo. landing and Solomons was loading someone into the copter. I had to shake my head cause thats awful early to be flying people out. Guess the drunks started early today. I was hanging out the bathroom window having a smoke and they have the lights going on the Island. Like they need more people there! Going to listen to my scanner to see who's getting in trouble-it's funny how many folks you hear that you know.
