Seriously, the swimmers (some of them) been hanging on kayaks and EMS has been dragging them out of the water and calling for blankets. Now they are transporting some and requesting another ambulance just in case.......

A guy I know pilots the boat that goes from shore to St. Clements island and when I talked to him this morning he was going to be there to ferry a group of kids back after they swam out. It sounded like a biathalon or triathalon for them Must not have gone as planned.

I think maybe hypothermia must have set in on some of them. They had rescue boats and kayaks out there for them, but once I left work, I don't know what happened. Hopefully, everyone was okay. It sounded pretty disorganized.
