Ya gotta love this County. Earlier dispatch:

"caller advised she thinks there are two men living in her attic. She hasn't seen them, but is hearing creaking and has other evidence."

I have no clue how these dispatchers don't bust out laughing when putting stuff like this out.

Yep, sometimes listening to the scanner is more entertaining than watching TV....I'm sure in the break room they share some interesting stories...

I have no idea. That's the kicker. If you aren't listening all the time, you don't always get the outcome. I'll try to post the funny ones as the come on. I heard the deputy say "he was familiar" which means it was probably a nut case. Well worth the $200.

I remember one incident on "Cops" many years ago where a middle- to older-aged lady called in something similar. The cops responded and treated her seriously, but it was apparent she was delusional.
