. Chuck Counties scanners have been encrypted for quite some time.

This information is incorrect. Charles county uses a digital system, and has encrypted channels available for circumstances/duties which require it. Routine traffic is not encrypted.

af, just go to this forum's police scanner. Mine is working right now, through my computer. Best of both worlds. I am in Calvert.

I should have added that this was for my grandparents they can't stream online because they have that Verizon mifi so I tried to put it on thier scanner and it didn't work
