There was a small scared dog in my yard this am in Avenue. Looked to be a beagle. very muddy. ran off.

I tried to catch him/her but it would have none of that. I'll keep my eye out and try to apprehend and see if it has tags......

Aww I feel awful when I try to help a stray dog and they run away scared. I always wonder if they make it home (if they have one). I try to keep 1 cat carrier and a dog leash in every vehicle I drive.

Dems4me would carry around a bucket of KFC so she could throw chicken at them...

I keep a leash and treats in my truck at all times. I really get nervous/worried when dogs are loose around busy streets. Most people could care less if an animal gets hit now a days. I hope the little guy/girl finds their way back home safely.

Leave treats out. My two beagles will run from you if you come near them but they think its a game. If you have food they will come. Hope the pup is found. :/
