The St. Mary's County Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) will perform construction work and replace a major culvert on Lockes Crossing Road, approximately half a mile southwest of the intersection with Old Village Road. Work is scheduled to begin Saturday, January 26, 2013 and continue through Sunday, January 27, 2013, between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. each day.
During these times, Lockes Crossing Road will be closed to through traffic at the pipe crossing. Dates and times could be modified due to weather conditions. During the construction motorists can expect changes in traffic patterns and delays. Drivers should remain alert for these conditions.
