Schibles Restaurant out of business?

Has anyone heard that Schibles has closed? If so Why?... I thought it was a great restaurant with a lot of business.

I heard this weekend that they finally sold the place or its under contract.

I was in there a month or so ago, and she said they were selling, but they would continue after the new owners took over... don't know if that's changed or not since then.

I asked my wife to marry me on the bench overlooking the water right outside the restaurant. We went back a few months ago to grab a bite (ten year anniversary) and it was closed, that mad Thor the sad

I certainly hope they reopen.

It closed this past Sunday. The person that was leasing the restaurant did not renew the lease so it closed.

There moving it to Monks Inn, or something like that. The same guy rents both places out, Monks and Schibles. I have no idea if they will have the same menu or what. But thats a bad idea, considering drunks and all at Monks. Take this as a grain of salt as I only heard this from someone else.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO We live right down the road and would go there at least once a month but we skipped this last month. We were gonna go sunday too but skipped! I was wondering why they were no longer listed on restaurant.com I am so upset!

I just called the restaurant phone number. Recording says they are 'closed for the winter' starting Oct. 1. Pizza night and some other special have moved to Monk's.
