Can't you just send it to your child's school? In Calvert County, you send it to your child's school(you can have the child bring a check to school) and they place the $ in the child's account.

That's how I did it, never knew you could pay online That's cool though if you can.

Sure, but last time when it was posted I registered and lost the web site. I got the dreaded "You owe" note because goober forgets to give me the "You are out of money" note. This way I can check and see how much he has left and fund his munchies.

1. There is this neat little button at the top of the page that says "search". Push that, then enter school lunch.

2. Go to the Schools website and look it up.

That is the website, Pete. But I recommend sending a check in so that you can avoid the 6 percent handling fee charged if you use the website to apply the funds. You can use the website to track it even if you don't use it to pay.

I use pay4lunch.com and I only get charged $1.00 when I use direct debit from my checking account - no matter how much I put in. The 6% is only for credit card transactions.

I checked it out and signed up; never knew it existed, and you are correct it's only a 1% transaction fee for direct debit.

Not 1% silly -- $1.00 per transaction. It's pretty cool, cause you can watch their accounts and put more money in when it gets low. Just make sure you account for the 3-5 days it takes to post to their account. Don't let it get TOO low before you fill up again!
