School Uniforms....what do you think?

Maybe I am too young and too "not smart" to understand..I can tell you one thing..I will let my daughter decide and whatever she wants..you better believe I will make sure it happens for her!

You're right Juggy, what kids wear to school will have no impact on what they go through at home - good or bad.

So a kid that comes from a poor home and is subjected to abuse also has to put up with taunts and ridicule at school too because she/he is not wearing the "right" thing. But, if everyone is in uniforms, then at least, while the kid is at school, she/he wouldn't be a "lesser" person and wouldn't have to take the abuse at home AND at school. She/he would be just like everyone else and could just worry about getting a decent education so she/he could get out of the hell that they live in at home.

Maybe I'm off base here, but it seems to me that uniforms certainly can't HURT.
