where do you go to find out which schools your child can attend based on your location?

(I'm in charles county)

I tried the county gvmnt site and the BOE site and can't find it =/

From the BOE website:

Registration for in-county students is completed at the individual schools. To find out what school your child is zoned for contact the Department of Student Services at 301-934-7326.

You have the call the Charles County Board of Education - Zoning

They will ask you for the exact address and they will let you know which schools you (your child(ren) can attend.
