my father is an assistant principal and he says that there will be schools as normal tommorrow. This is because the schools have to have a total of 180 days in a school year. It would either take up one of the snow days or add days to the end of the school year.

the feds in dc are closing due to all the traffic f**k up. as far as AAFB its due to Air Force 1 flying out with the body.

Charles County only closes to weather emergencies, so they'll be open tomorrow. I was actually supposed to go in today but n ever got the memo - I assumed that we had New Year's off. :shrug:

From what I've heard, it is Gov't and Fed offices that are closed due to the day of mourning, I don't think that includes schools, that is a state call. I would think the school would have started notifying parents by now (or hope anyway instead of waiting until the last minute)
