And I'm never gonna forget that fat slob telling the class first thing in the morning "We go on today like any other school day, yesterday was just another day. Forget about what happened and if anybody knows anyone who died in the attacks, forget about it and proceed with this day as normal."

For the record, this was on September 12, 2001. The school's attitude was just that, that 9-11 had never happened. I speak for every person who was in that school when I say I wanted to put a fist in his mouth. It is a very hard thing to do to overlook the events, the tragedies, of the day before. To proceed with school is one thing, to act as if nothing happened on 9-11 is another.
SOunds like he was being sarcastic and was pissed with the school policy himself..

Our school pres did the same thing, but she came out and said.. Changing our lives, stopping what we are doing is what the terrorist want us to do, our lives will go on as normal, classes will stay on schedule.

Those in military worked on September 12, 2001. I think going to your Math and English classes wouldn't have been as tough as what our military did, and has done since 9/11. Cry me a river kid, life goes on.
