Spend a little while every week at the Habitat For Humanity ReStore on GMR (in the old Bay District FD building. Never know what you'll find. Once it was a 20 drawer steel organizer cabinet, $20.

Today, was brand new, in the box, old Craftsman diagnotic tools. A top of the line timing light, compression gauge with adapters, and remote start handle. Only the conpression tester any use with all the other cars in the fleet (oldest a 91 Geo Strom), but come time to get the Cougars 390 running again, they will be a great help.

Total cost? $17.00

Thanks for the information! I knew there was ReStore in Hughesville, but had no idea about the one you mentioned. Having new Toys is fun, isn't it? Enjoy!!

Tons of stuff, and you never know when you'll stumble across something cool. There was a box with two cues and a set of pool palls with a rack and some chalk. The remmnants of a Mr Beer kit, consisting of a nice bottle capper, about 100 bottle caps, and some hops. They wanted five, but since I have a capper, I didnt feel like spending $5 on caps. That capper is a $17 or so dollar item on Amazon.

It's not fair that you St. Mary's guys have all the good stores. We have Peebles, KMart and Walmart (PF). We do have a thrift shop that donates 100% to animal needs, which is a good thing, but slim pickins', and now the Just a Dollar Store is $1.29 and up! I am going to have to plan a trip over the bridge. Thanks, for the FYI.

There is a Restore in NB...Nice store, but only open Fri and Sat as the manager also works the LP one.

Thanks. I have to say, as a rule, I don't go anymore north than PF, but, I will definitely look into making it to North Beach. My world is small, ya think!
