Try the Edgewater Inn on Mayo Rd. Its just off rt. 2 on the way to Annapolis.
This place was recommended by a local waterman who also owns a seafood business in Chesapeake Beach. You wont be sorry :yahoo:

There's a restaurant called "Crabs Knockers" in Leonardtown where the Food Lion shopping center is. I have not eaten there, but I've heard of it. I was told it was very good.
Crabknockers is very good. It's carry out only though.

Stoney's in Solomons or Clarkes Landing in Hollywood (but I think they are closed for the season).
Broomes Island ( i think that's the name) is closed for the season opening in April. BUt the one in Prince Frederick is open and is great! Best crabcakes I have found. I am from the West Coast ( Cali) as well.

Well, driving up to DC for seafood is headed the wrong direction :lmao:

I will have to disagree, the best seafood i have ever had came from a restaraunt on the Georgetown Waterfront. It was priced pretty good and it was worth every damn penny. The shrimp where massive and tasted amazing, the crap cake was huge and was nothing but crab meat, alos got a Tilapia fillet which was awsome, switched up the scallops for extra shrimp not a scallop fan.

of all places, a grocery store called Shoppers had some good seafood lol Crab legs were $6.99 a lb. and they had some HUGE shrimp but they were $14.99 a lb! I guess I'm going to check out the Capt's Table tonight and see how the buffet is. And no, I'm here legally lol Landscaping is my hobby as it is good exercise and I love being outside all the time. Much thanks for all the information everyone! I'll try and check out as many places as I can.

Check out Crab Knockers in Leoardtown. The crabs, oysters, shrimps, etc. aren't that expensive as Shopper's. Also, you would be supporting a local business (mom and pop business). Remember, this is carry out only. They can cook your food for you to take home all ready to eat. :yay:

Capt's Table is pretty good. :yay:
