Does anyone know what is going on at Seahorse Beach? Hearing rumors but not sure if they are true!

There was a 63 year old woman shot and has been flown out.....that part I know is true......hearing rumors that there is a sniper loose in the Ranch Club???? I am listening to my scanner now and it sounds to me like maybe she shot herself but I am not sure.

I have the scanner turned down. Haven't been any fly outs from the CRE airport.

Not sure where the landing site was but I did hear them communicating with the chopper........she was definatley shot and flown out. They have the dive team there now looking for a gun.

They just said Golden west Way was closed.
Unfortunately, our scanner is also on Calvert transportation dispatch and it was/is annoying to listen to. It often overrides the Sheriff calls :burning:

I just turned the Calvert Scanner on since I have lots of family in the Ranch Club, it is annoying to hear the transportation people on there, but I did hear the officer mention "shooting". Also, isn't Golden West Way closed anyway because of the rotting cliffs?

I heard there was a sniper at the beach. Not sure if it's true or not, but they said that the 63-year-old woman was shot and there was a sniper on the loose.

I heard the same thing but not on the scanner......wasn't sure if it was a rumor or not. Can't figure it out on the scanner.......

Scanner seems quiet, think if a sniper was on the loose, there would be a lot more activity on the scanner. The woman probably shot herself, can't understand why she'd do it on the beach though.

I mentioned it to dgates80 this morning before he left for work but evidentally, he didn't have time to fix it. Whenever our electric goes out or we have a blip, it screws everything up on the scanner. Sometimes, we also hear the building maintenance guys dispatching.

If she wanted to die, maybe it was favorite place of hers? Or less mess for her family. :shrug:

Well I just called the non-emergency number and asked, as my kids and I need to leave the house and I don't want to be outside if there's a "sniper" on the loose. Was told that its not true...

I could have sworn I heard the call go out as a stabbing and police were not yet on the scene:shrug: It was maybe 10:30a.m. or so.
I hope shes going to be ok. Trooper 2 was called but with so much going on it was hard to tell what was what.

Easy to clean up with the tides and waves ..... and the crabs get to have some fresh pieces of people to eat...YUM!!!!..............:whistle:
