I'm searching for someone who wants to make a few bucks cleaning the yard and exterior of our home. Does anyone know of a teenager in the area who has their "own landscaping business?"

Good Luck on the Teenager thing. I have a perpetual sign at the end of the road stating $9.00 an hour yard maintenance. The most i have gotten is enough hours for them to buy an MP3 player or video game and they are out of there never to return. Hard to find kids motivated by work= bank account these days. It is more like... what is the minimum I can do to get this same item my friends have or they saw on TV.

I would suggest (as another poster has) that you are not going to get reliable work from a teenager. They may or may not show up, and that does not guarantee a level of effort. We had a contractor do some work for us, to get the final approval from L&I some landscaping work had to be completed. The contractor had four teenagers at our house for the better part of the day, I came home that night and moved more dirt in 2 hours then they did all day.WifeandMother said:
