Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan asked the state Supreme Court to reverse the decision of a King County circuit court judge that allowed a recall effort to move forward against her, which could result in her expulsion from office.

Durkan, a Democrat, was called out by five Seattle residents who filed a petition seeking to recall her because of how law enforcement officials have responded to protests this summer, according to The Seattle Times.

Durkan reportedly asked the circuit court judge to reconsider the decision, but the request was denied.

This needs to become a trend.

I had to go all the way to the Seattle Times article, but sounds like the petitioners are pissed because the Mayor didn't rein in the SPD's use of force against protesters.

So it has nothing to do about ignoring law & order but more about allowing what they believe is police brutality. Are citizens there afraid of the woke crowd .?

When I was reading this about the 5 people who wanted her removed I was wondering which side it was coming from. Now it appears that it is coming more or less from the Antifa CROWD.

People who are asking for more riots and less Police.

Well my suggestion is for anyone with a businss or who cares about their lives should get the hell out of Seattle while the getting is good. It's only going to get worse.
