Hey gang,

Second Hope Rescue will be at Petco in Prince Frederick from 11-3 showing off some of our cute cuddly dogs (and an older kitten). Come check out our pooches, find the love of your life. : )

Holly is an AWESOME girl! I picked her up from the shelter, and she is super sweet. She was good w/ everyone at the vets - even w/ the Vet and his thermometer, and giving blood for her heartworm test. She is laid back. Her eyes are so sad looking.

Holly is so cool... she just walks likes she is so composed and in control. I've tried to get her on the furniture to sit with me and she won't do it, she will lay on the floor in front of the couch and that's as close to the furniture as she will get. Whoever let her go lost an awesome dog. She rarely barks (unless she's in the yard and I'm walking another dog) and when she's out she doesn't pay any attention to the other dogs that are crated.

Sunshine is so very sweet, so full of life and yet she wants to cuddle, she just can't figure out what she'd rather do, run and play or just be hugged...

Are they current on their shots (did you get their records)? Do you think the male will be okay in that atmosphere?

I need to call and make a couple of more apts at the vet....

Do you have pics of them, if so email them along with a bio so I can put online...:love:

Yeppers, I have all their paperwork and shot records, they are up to date from what I see. I think the male would be just fine,, the girl is somewhat timid but already coming around some.

I am taking them to the groomer before I take pix cuz the previous owner decided she could groom them and they look a tad bit tarded!!

I also have your paperwork for Jeffy to bring to you...:huggy: I've talk with his new humans and they are loving him!!!:yahoo:

K_K, can you give me more info on Bo? My coworker had to put down her 13 yr old dog (she adopted him when he was 8 I think), and she is looking for a dog that looks similar to him. Would you consider adopting to her since she lives on the eastern shore? You can PM me. Thanks! :howdy:


ETA: I just saw him on petfinder....I see his name is spelled Beau. :smile: I haven't told her about him yet...I want to make sure she'd be able to adopt since she's not in So. MD.

i didn't know you all were at PETCO today!! sunshine is absolutely adorable, can you tell me if she is still available for adoption? if so, is it possible to come meet her? thanks so much.
