Security tag left on clothing.

I switched some shirts out from Aero. last weekend. Day grabbed one of the shirts this morning and noticed the security tag was still on it; I hadn't even noticed during checkout. Anyhow, I have to run to Target sometime today and he said to take the shirt to them to see if they could take off the security tag. Does this sound like a bad idea or just funny?

They will take it off, as long as their tools match.........JC Penney's or Belk might be a better choice.

They'll call the cops and have you arrested for shoplifting. :nono:

Actually, I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago at B. Moss. I took it back to them the following week WITH the receipt and they removed the tag.

Good idea, thanks! I don't have the receipt with me (and didn't feel like searching for it this morning). I just hope they don't think I stole it.

Go Braves!
I'm not sure I'd take it to another store to have it removed:lol: That would seem very suspicious:roflmao:

Besides, does target even use tags on their clothes?

I'm trying to avoid traveling to Waldorf.

Did you have a B. Moss coupon? I had one for $25 off a $50 purchase but never got a chance to use it. :frown: I love that store, too!!

No people do it all the time. I have done it. They understand, never been questioned about it.
I think they feel that if they help you out with that, you will shop in the store while you are there.

I had that happen on a pair of jeans a few months ago.
If its the type that claps on form both sides with the little metal pin you can take it off your self with a hacksaw blade. Just push the two peices apart uuntil you can see the pin. Then, careful not to touch the fabric, cut partially through the pin and then work the peices back and forth until the pin breaks.

Good luck either way

That sounds like a lot of work when I can almost touch Belk right now. :eyebrow:

In My Opinion
You need to get you a cutting torch and just take the damn thing off yourself.

Seriously. Midnight's solution is something a man would do, not one of us ladies. :killingme
well, it kept me from having to go back to waldorf, and i didn't really think a store would do that if it wasn't bought from them

:yeahthat:

I bought a pair of shoes from Nordstrom in Annapolis 3 years ago. They sold me blue when I specifically asked for black. I have a hard time telling those colors apart. Anyway .. it was for a wedding that was 2 days away. When I got home and realized the color was wrong I called up and complained. I spent over $100 on these shoes and I was fuming! The floor manager actually lived in the area and she personally delivered the correct color shoes to me the next day. I LOVE NORDSTROM!!!
