happy to be living
A local realtor and animal lover/rescuer recently lost her battle with cancer; leaving behind 15+ cats and 2 dogs. Though I didn't know Rita Minion well, I know she had a big heart, cared deeply for the welfare of animals and couldn't turn a stray cat away.
One of my customers; with the help of Ron Wexler (Orphaned Wildlife Rescue), Friends of Felines and O'Brien Realty; has taken in most of cats and needs donations of clumping kitty litter, pate style cat food, old newspapers, towels, cat treats and toys and monetary help as well.
All the cats have received innoculations, flea treatments and deworming. It is my belief they all have been spayed and neutered.
Stable long term placements are needed for these cats. Behaviorally, these adult cats run the gamut from shy and introverted to the loving and attention seeking, though all have the capacity for great love, appreciation and loyalty. Some of these cats would be suitable for an outdoor barn enviroment; others would make wonderful house pets.
Anyone that can foster any of these cats will receive assistance from Friends of Felines.
If you would like to contribute in any way, please contact annevajda@comcast.net or you may send me a pm. I would be happy to offer my stores as a drop off for contributions.
Thanks.
