Sorry, I can't stand McCain. After his retarded campaign finance "reform" crap, he was done as far as I was concerned. I could BARELY get past that tobacco crap.

...has been a media darling since before he ran against W in 2000.
He is war hero and POW.
More importantly, he is for campaing finance reform (aka the 'media empowerment act') ever since he got busted as one of the Keating 5. Notice now that we are getting down to the first true tests of McCain/Feingold just how much it favors the press.
But he is pretty much GOP the rest of the way, pro life, pro 2nd amendment etc.
This Kerry courting has been a joke from the get go. How bad are you when you feel it is a legitimate option to ask your opponent to be with you?
