“I must say I will try my best to get some people angry today by saying that I will not come back to this podium,” he said. “I will not come back to this podium and give quorum to this body until we bring the midcycle redistricting bill to this floor.”

Got dam that makes me happy. the longer this ass wipe stays off the floor the fewer shitty Democrat laws will be passed. I hope he takes off until we can elect a Senator that does not wear a racist scarf to the legislature.

Moore must have coordinated this with him. Nobody else walked out with him. They don't care. There are other pressing needs the senate needs to take up. His walk out won't prevent a quorum, and I don't think he will really be missed.

I guess the governor will have to think up another way to appease Jeffries and Schumer.

This is your guy Charles County. Looks like he needs some encouragement to DO HIS JOB. Email, call, etc. - let him know he can be replaced.

P.S. Such a immature jerk move. I guess he thinks he picked up his ball and went home.

P.P.S. Is there some rule about missing votes - too many missing votes gets you kicked off? If they don't have it, they should.

Ellis being elected from Charles County shows you what has happened to the county and why it is a good idea to avoid Waldorf.

Damn I am getting old I remember when there was one traffic light in Waldorf, and the next one going to DC was in Camp Springs at Allentown Rd.

I remember Waldorf as little Las Vegas. Wigwam, Stardust, Sahara Inn, Waldorf restaurant. All that gambling and shows going on till the wee hours of the morning and it was still safer than it is today!
