PORTLAND, Maine — Former Portsmouth Naval Shipyard worker Casey Fury was sentenced Friday to 17 years 1 month in federal prison for setting fire to the USS Miami in May 2012, causing $450 million in damage to the submarine.
Fury was sentenced on two counts of arson, for setting the Miami fire and a small, second fire several weeks later.
