Why wasnt it? I mean our stuff was watered down compared to what we know of real POW experiences, right? No broken bones, no real beatings. I know mine in 84 was different than my Dads when he went through sometime in the 60s. Nothing I went through couldn't be faced by a woman.

??? I'm not sure what training you went through, but I got the living crap beat out of me more than once......not to mention i spent half the time naked as the day i was born...

Navy Warner Springs. Beatings were face slapping and being lifted by shirt and body slammed into corrugated metal bolted between two phone poles or plywood walls inside buildings. No closed fists, no implements, no body blows. And we were never stripped. Might be AF SERE is different?
