The Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision. Several witnesses observed a black jeep with Maryland registration strike a motor cycle on N/B I-270 near the 28 Mile Marker. The Driver of the Jeep then fled the scene of the incident. The Jeep, becoming disabled as a result of the collision was located close to the scene of the collision. The driver of the Jeep was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested. The driver of the Motorcycle has been flown my Maryland State Police Medivac to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Maryland. The investigation is ongoing.
