Victim(s)/Injuries: Injured and transported via ambulance to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore MD

Narrative: Troopers from the Maryland State Police, Centreville Barracks responded to a single motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, troopers found that a pickup truck had traveled off the roadway into a wood line, striking a tree. Driver who was the sole occupant was heavily entrapped. Due to weather conditions (snow/ice), MSP Aviation was not available. Driver was extricated by the fire department and was subsequently transported by ground to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. MSP Crash Team responded to the scene for further investigation.
