Server Not Responding- Help!

For the last 2 days, I thought somd.com had bit the dust - kept getting the error ”server stopped responding”. Wasn’t until today when I was at the store when I was able to open the forums that I realized there is something wonky with my Wi-Fi at home. On all of my devices connected to my home wifi - iPad, iMac, iPhone - I cannot access the somd.com website. If I share my 5G hotspot from my iPhone, then I am able to access the site. So far, I haven’t found any other site giving me this problem. I‘ve reset my cable modem (Breezeline) and all devices but still no luck. The only thing I haven’t reset is my router(AirPort Extreme).

Any thoughts on what the issue is?

Do you have a vpn running? some sites I have to turn mine off

Maybe a DNS issue? Try using the IP address of 67.255.185.27 in place of www.somd.com. If that works, see if you can change the DNS server address in your router.

Common DNS servers: Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Google (8.8.8.8), Quad9 (9.9.9.9), and OpenDNS (208.67.222.222)

No luck.

This is very strange because so far I haven’t found any other websites I can’t open. I read in the slow forum thread that David made some settings changes this week on the somd side of things. Did he specifically block my house because he doesn’t like me? 😢

I'm going to direct David to this thread. He just banned a bunch of IP addresses to keep the bots away and he said that if anyone was having trouble accessing I should let him know right away.

I left my house Tuesday mid day and things were ok as far as accessing somd. I returned Wednesday evening about 6pm and that is when I could not access Somd from my home internet.

You likely got caught in the latest IP Block. Go here from the system that is not working and then PM me your IP address. Please do not post it publicly.
