O's swept AGAIN by the Rays. Pathetic. Another miserable season series against TB results in another collapsing season that has now gone completely south in a week.
The O's have played terrible baseball the past two months. There hasn't really been a game on this side of the All Star Break where the entire team showed up. When the bats were alive, the bullpen was giving up too many runs. When the bullpen wasn't giving up runs, the O's weren't scoring runs at all. And way too many losses in the ninth inning.
The best they can finish is 87 wins, I believe. Six games worse than last year at best.
Regression.
No playoffs.
Regression
Team failure.
TB owns the O's.
Sickening.
O's were better than last year. Problem is, the Red Sox have been red hot and will probably go to the World Series, the Rays have been really strong and the Orioles had to play the Yankees a lot when they got red hot. Speaking of, isn't A-Rod suspended?
Last year, the O's were lucky. This year, they were good but everyone else in the division was better.
I'd rather be lucky than good.
