Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has proclaimed April 8-12, 2012, Severe Storms Awareness Week. Weather-related property damage may be beyond control, but residents can take steps to ease recovery efforts after bad weather hits. The Maryland Insurance Administration encourages Marylanders to review their insurance needs before a storm strikes.
