I had the idea of beating the storm home, after I was told to leave, but people around here drive so slow when it rains, like they'd never driven in it before.

People should drive really, really fast during storms.

Apparently, people were. The scanner kept on going off with auto accidents, people running off the road, and even a boat in distress (not that the boat had anything to do with going fast).

Sorry to hear that Andy. Whereabouts are you? I'm just off Chancellors Run Road and we didn't get squat other than some light rain and a touch or two of thunder/lightning.

That sucks the storm damaged alot of that stuff. I heard a "building collapse" go out for the district 2 Charles County Sheriffs Office Bldg... That storm did quite alot of damage I would imagine? I also heard the "boat in distress" and the "car in the water" call go out as well....
