Yeah, BK shiat the bed on that one. I hate Spongebob anyways, but I'm not sure why they'd pick that song to sell kids' meals.

I saw it a few days ago and :jet:. I meant to start the thread on Monday and kept forgetting. I saw it last night while watching TV with the bf. He had the same reaction I did I so finally knew that I wasn't over-reacting. It's sick.

The Prude weighs in and didn't find that ad particularly offensive. I am more offended by parents allowing their kids to watch sexually explicit and morally questionable TV shows like Desperate Housewives and Rock of Love.

As much as I detest the BK King and Spongebob, the commercial is just a parody of a dance video and kids love music. It grabs their attention and a 4 yr. old is looking at it as a dance, not glorifying butts :duh:

You don't think that advertising Kids Meals with shaking butts and those lyrics is offensive?

And a 4 year old is repeating EVERYTHING that they see and hear. A 7 year old understands what they see and hear.

Nope. When my kids were little, I used to sing "Shake Your Booty" to them and they'd run around shaking their booty. This is the same thing to me.

:yeahthat: I thought the commercial was funny. Oh and booty to a pirate is treasure so I guess they are saying the other booty is a treasure.

I got it, thanks. One would think BK would know better than to use a song about big butts to advertise their food to children.

You are a funny person in that you think children should have free and unfettered sex, without responsibility or consequence, yet you get worked up about a song about big butts.
