Sex Offender at Turner and Stoddert

FYI- I saw him on school property in the middle of the day. My two older kids tell me they have seen him in the back of Stoddert and between Stoddert and the library. P & P notified and this IS a violation. I notified the principals and the school officer. He has no kids and is older so there is no reason for him to be there. Not sure if I should post his info but if you want it send me a PM. Or, I can post it, I have no problem with that. His charges (from Md. Judiciary Case Search) are indecent exposure and stalking. His charge on the registry is 2nd degree rape. I can't say for sure but as we all know he may have plead down to this charge.

There are so many child molestation stories going around here and if it was up to me I would post the names of every one of them.

On the Maryland Judicial site, his charges are theft, indecent exposure and an address change (??). It states nothing about rape. I'm not trying to protect or stick up for him, but he doesn't sound all that dangerous/violent.

Stoddert is next to Smallwood Shopping Center. Many people walk through the school parking lot. If he's a registered sex offender, he shouldn't be on the property though - or anywhere near it.

Exactly. Plus, my daughter says he's just standing there. Not walking. Also, from where he lives in Bannister, being in that area is not on a walking route to SVC. He's walk through to Jackson Ct. from Brightwell Ct., up St. Ignatius and to SVC that way. At least that is the logical way to get there. The library/Stoddert is out of the way.
Plus, he just "happens" to be there when school lets out where many of the kids walk?

The school officer just called and says he has gotten other calls about Mr. Colbert recently with the same concerns. It's the stalking charge that gets me. He may not do anything then but I don't want him even looking at my kids. He lives close by and it scares me to think he could be watching and getting a routine. It's not normal for a 58yo man with no kids to be standing around schools, especially at dismissal time.

no its not normal. I'd show up every day with a video camera.

and the police said what when you called them about him hanging around the parking lots of the schools? Just curious becuase this should be a violation of his parole/probation.
