Sharps disposal in St Marys?

Can't seem to find anything on the St Andrews landfill page about sharps disposal. I'm about to put them in a tide jug and fill it with concrete and throw it in the trash.

If you're going to fill it with concrete and just throw it away (which will be heavy as crap in your trash) why don't you instead use it as a boat anchor? That's the Southern Maryland way after all.

Just sneakin' around....
When I had to deal with that in VA for my mom, the local drugstore sold a red sharps container for a couple of bucks. Once filled, they would dispose of it.

No idea if they would do that here.

Got one of those for lancets and ozempic needles, the damn Trulicity pens I had to switch to because some jackass made a tick tok video about weight loss on ozempic are freaking huge and the needle don't separate.

Thank you, looks like there is a place by the old McKays for junkies like me to drop off our used needles.

When I went on Humira (big injection pens), the manufacturer, Abbive, set me up with a big sharps container that I just mail (postage paid by big Pharma) back to them when full. Try calling the Trulicity info number and see if they can do the same.

You can put them in any sealed container (old coffee cans, etc...with tape around the lid) and throw them away with your regular trash.

I use a pair of wire cutters to nip the needles in small pieces and dispose of them in the regular trash.

I do not think you can put that in regular trash that stuff goes to burn factory and gets incinerated

Need to get you some of these....... got one with my "So your cats a friken diabetic" welcome kit. Stick needle in, press down, snips it off. Needles are contained inside so you can toss it in the trash. Holds some silly number like 1,500 needles.
