Fox News Channel television host Bill O'Reilly and a former producer of his talk show have agreed to settle their legal dispute over her allegations of sexual harassment, O'Reilly's lawyer announced Thursday.

"Out of respect for their families and privacy, all parties and their representatives have agreed that all information relating to the cases shall remain confidential," Green's statement said.

I can't picture the situation that you would pay out a couple of mil (the last arguing amount) for something you didn't do. It sounds all consensual to me and him with a chubby wallet was very stupid. I bet his life at home is chilly.

I CAN picture at least one - a lawsuit and media circus that would cost more than simply settling. She may have had a case that could not win, but it would hurt him nonetheless. I think Mr. O'Reilly was either having an affair at the office or had someone he was extremely flirtatious with, and who returned his interest.

I've certainly known of situations where the evidence is enough to make you look BAD without convicting you. He may have just decided it was worth the money.
