Sheltie breeding question

We have a 6 year old full bred male Sheltie (tri-color). My daughter would like to breed him and have one of the puppies. I've never tried to advertise to find a female Sheltie for this purpose. What is the best way to go about this? Is there a web site? Does anyone on this forum have a single Sheltie looking for a boyfriend?

I don't know :shrug: But you might try searching under single sheltie!
Actually if you want a puppy with the same temperment or good traits without the hassle of breeding I would go to the breeder where you originally got him from.

She loves her dog but not that much..... There are some people on this forum who've probably had special moments with animals so I guess I really do need to be careful how I phrase things. You're baaaaaaaaaaaad

You can place an ad on somd.com. Saying you have a stud sheltie for use. People either pay for stud service or you can get pick of the litter. I just had my female chihuahua bred and all I have to do is give them pick of the litter.
